Now that you have requested an introduction to the autobiography of the servant who is poor in need of the mercy of his Creator and Master, I hesitated a lot about writing it, and God knows how much I was reluctant to do so, had it not been for the insistence on its importance in response to some correspondence. So I say, after praising God Almighty and asking Him for sincerity in word and deed.
Your brother Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Dhawi Al-Asimi, Allah has blessed us with righteousness and guidance while we were in high school at the hands of some of our brothers who we consider to have been sincere in their call and have devoted their time and lives. - Master’s degree from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Kuwait University, in the Comparative Jurisprudence and Principles of Jurisprudence program. The thesis was entitled (The Jurisprudential Rulings on Infection and Epidemics in Hajj) in 2011.
- PhD from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Kuwait University. The thesis was awarded a distinction with a recommendation for publication in 2014.
Seeking knowledge
God has made it easy for us to seek knowledge from the great scholars at intermittent intervals, including, for example
His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz (may God shower his mercy and forgiveness upon him), God has made it easy for us to attend some of his lessons on the interpretation of Ibn Kathir, Sunan al-Nasa’i, and Zaad al-Ma’ad.
Among them is the scholar Sheikh Muhammad bin Uthaymeen (may God perfume his grave) through some summer courses in his mosque in Unaizah.
Among them is the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Jibrin, whom I accompanied for a period of time, praise be to God. I read with him the entirety of jurisprudence, the Wasitiyyah creed, and the book Al-Muharrir by Ibn Abdul Hadi.
Among them is Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Rajhi. We read to him Al Tahawiya, Al-Radd Ala Al Zanadiqa, and Al-Ibanah by Ibn Battah.
